We are looking for a License Manager to be a part of one of the most ambiguous project within license management. We have decided to establish a new common license management structure to cover all 5 countries in AMS – This by implementing common processes and a new global platform to support this journey. For this to succeed, we need to strengthen our skilled license team with additional new colleagues.
 

Responsibilities

  • Handling licensing-related questions relevant for software and services delivered by AMS.
  • Accurate and timely reporting to vendors.
  • Delivering data for customer invoicing purposes and support other parts of AMS with detailed information to questions related to this.
  • Performing internal audits on all prioritized vendors typically 1 – 2 timers per year to:
    • Support contract renewals/negotiations,
    • Ensure compliance maturity.
  • Validating the content of proposals and acting as pre-sales support, in relation to licensing and potential BYOL.
  • Performing due diligence to ensure alignment between the customer contract and inventoried installations and software in relation to on-boarding.
  • Validating vendor invoices, in collaboration with Supplier Management, to ensure cost control.
  • Overseeing the ongoing development in inventory data quality and ensuring proper actions are initiated to meet the KPIs on this.

 

Requirements

  • Professional pride in optimizing the overall SAM maturity and delivering business value,
  • Broad experience with licensing from major vendors e.g. IBM/RedHat, Veeam, VMware etc.,
  • Experience in internal and external audits, from data collection to creating ELPs and negotiate the findings in relation to external audits,
  • Great communication skills and are able to convey licensing knowledge to others, with little or less knowledge in this field,
  • Capability to drive tasks yourself but also initiate assistance from others, when it benefits your progress.

Gross salary range:
2500 – 3300 EUR
