Role Overview:

As a Data-Driven Backend Developer, your role will be crafted based on your strengths and interests. You have the opportunity to dig into indoor climate data and turn that into gold for our customers and grow to take a more central role in working on the backbone of our SaaS-based indoor climate management solution. In collaboration with our business operations, you will enhance existing and innovate new features and metrics that are central to our pioneering solution. This role is ideally suited for someone who is interested in turning data into valuable insights and building robust and scalable backend services out of those.

Responsibilities:

• Build new functionalities for, and enhance and maintain existing features of our data processing pipelines, web apis and services backing our front-end, mobile and reporting applications.
• Analyze business requirements, and bring-in your own insights.
• Engage in infrastructure development as well as architectural planning of upcoming features.
• Influence the practices of our development team.

What we are looking for:

• A proactive attitude with willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• ~2 years of relevant experience.
• Curiosity toward a data-first approach to product development.
• Proficiency backend development as well as databases.
• Bonus points for experience in cloud, containerization and devops technologies.
• Extra bonus points for practical experience in working with production systems and databases.
