Piab Group has invested in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 across its global operations including the launch of a new integration platform that integrates with other connected systems like PLM, Web, Power BI, etc. It’s a program that consists of multiple projects. The first phase of the project is completed with a selection of technology and implementation partners. The second phase of the project is to design and deliver global templates along with localizations. The third phase is global rollouts to its legal entities that are in scope. A comprehensive application support will be in place after the go-live of entities that are in scope. Piab group is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 Functional Specialist who should work hands-on in D365. The role is internally called Business Services Group Lead. 

The position is based on Piab HQ, Stockholm with the possibility of Hybrid work. 

Expected start date: 01-August-2024. 

Role description: 

Business requirements 

  • Collect business requirements. 
  • Analyse business requirements and perform GAP/Fit analysis. 
  • Discuss with the business stakeholders about the best-fit solution proposal. 
  • Lead the sign-off process together with the key stakeholders. 
  • Lead business discussions across different business units for process coherence and requirements prioritization 
  • During the process, ensure appropriate documentations are completed. 

Design 

  • Lead and perform solution design activities together with the delivery team. 
  • Consider cross-functional impacts. 
  • Apply standard and industry best practices while designing solutions. 
  • Apprise business stakeholders about the proposed design and obtain the required sign-off with business and IT stakeholders. 

Data management 

  • Understand data requirements. 
  • Map data from source to target applications. 
  • Assist in data migration activities. 

Configure and develop 

  • Perform configuration in D365 according to specification. Also, coordinate with the delivery team to get the required configuration completed wherever applicable. 
  • Ensure appropriate documentation of configurations. 
  • Explain functional solutions to the development team to build the right solutions. 
  • Coordinate with the development team for solution development completion. 
  • Review the solutions delivered by the development team and perform unit & required regression testing. 

Testing 

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify test scenarios and test cases. 
  • Perform unit, regression, and system integration testing. 
  • Take part in non-functional testing. 
  • Assist in user acceptance test. 
  • Resolve defects. 

Training 

  • Contribute to training strategy. 
  • Prepare training material. 
  • Conduct required training. 

Go-live 

  • Provide input to cut-over planning. 
  • Take part and lead in go-live activities within the scope of the role. 

Maintenance & Support 

  • Take part in maintenance, and support activities related to the role scope. 
  • Work on assigned incidents, problems, service, and change requests. 
     
    Process 
  • Adhere to relevant processes like project methodology, solution change management, configuration & release management, deployment management, and postproduction support processes. 
  • Align with project managers & support leaders for time planning, task execution, prioritization, and progress reporting. 

Forums 

  • Take part in different projects and support forums. 
  • Stakeholder Management across business divisions. 
  • Contribute inputs to these forums with requirements management, solution management, testing, and support tickets resolution. 

Hands-on approach 

  • D365 ERP solution touches business processes in sales, order management, pricing, sourcing, purchasing, manufacturing, inventory, warehousing, transportation, field service, and financial management. Therefore, a very hands-on and cross-functional approach is needed in this role. The role focuses on delivering business values through best-fit technology solutions in collaboration with key stakeholders from business and IT.  

Requirements 

  • Poses relevant bachelor's or master's Degrees. 
  • 5-8 years of relevant functional work experience within Microsoft Dynamics 365. 
    Thorough knowledge and experience in the area of sales, order management, pricing, sourcing, procurement and manufacturing. 
  • Experience working in large and complex D365 ERP projects is required. 
  • Experience working with maintenance and support in D365 is required. 
  • Experience working with data migration and integrations is required. 
  • Experience working in international environments and assignments is necessary. 
  • Experience working with tools like Jira / HP ALM / ServiceNow, and SharePoint is required. 
  • Experience working in leading requirement, and solution workshops. 
  • Demonstrate solid ability to work collaboratively in a team. 
  • Experience working with agile and waterfall methodology. Thorough understanding of change, release, deployment, testing, training, and IT service methodologies. 
  • Able to understand business needs and translate business needs into tangible solutions. 
  • Willingness to travel. 
  • Experience in B2B organizations is an advantage. 
  • Be result-driven and have analytical skills. 
  • Experience working with MS Word, Power points, Excel, and project-related tools. 
  • Ability to multi-task and manage various task elements simultaneously. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to communicate in a concise and professional manner. 
  • It is required that person is a good team player, and social.  
  • Fluent in English both writing and speaking.   
  • A good understanding of Swedish is needed.  
  • Any other language skills are advantage.
