Junior Area Sales Manager - Germany, Ruhr Region

Your Impact:
As a Junior Area Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our customer base, contributing to Piab's growth and reputation in your designated region. You will:

Enhance your sales skills, territory planning, and execution to meet set targets.

Helping your customer base in finding energy efficient vacuum solutions for their applications

Enrich our diverse and inclusive work environment with your insights and experiences.

Key Duties:

  • Manage sales within your assigned territory, supporting both existing and potential customers.
  • Identify and leverage local business opportunities, navigating through challenges.
  • Collaborate on the implementation of a territory business plan aligned with company goals.
  • Manage sales channels for our vacuum automation products.
  • Conduct customer visits and travel frequently within your territory.
  • Collaborate with other Piab departments to meet sales quotas.
  • Participate in annual distributor/rep meetings, events and activities.
  • Assist with trade show preparations and coverage.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend product solutions.
  • Identify and initiate conversations with potential new customers.

Essential Skills and Competencies:

  • 1+ year(s) of experience in sales or a related field.
  • Basic knowledge of our industry markets.
  • Bachelor's degree or State certified Technician in engineering or a similar field.
  • High intrinsic motivation and enthusiasm for selling value-adding solutions.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Fluent in German and good English skills, both oral and written.
