Job Mission:

As a Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing mechanics for vacuum automation products. You will collaborate with a dynamic team to drive product development projects, contributing to our mission of advancing automation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop mechanics for vacuum automation products.
  • Participate in product development projects.
  • Create drawings and other product documentation, and store in PLM system.
  • Review and approve designs done by other designers.
  • Build prototypes needed for evaluation of design.
  • Plan, execute, and evaluate design tests, including developing and building test equipment needed.
  • Discuss technical solutions with suppliers to ensure product quality and producibility.
  • Stay updated with new technology in areas such as production methods, product functionality, materials, etc.
  • Contribute ideas on continuous improvement work including processes, work environment, and culture.
  • Maintain products and support manufacturing and/or production processes throughout the entire product life cycle.
  • Support other departments with technical information needed.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legal requirements and regulations affecting our products.

Preferred Competencies

  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in 3D CAD.
    • Good PC-habit, and skills in Office-related programs.
    • Knowledge of different manufacturing methods.
    • Expertise in  Design of motion mechanical system and dynamic mechanics
    • Understanding of pneumatics.
  • Language Skills:
    • Excellent English skills, both verbal and written.
  • Soft Competencies:
    • Strong analytical skills with a procative problem-solving approach
    • Excellent communication abilities.
    • High sense of urgency.
    • Humble and collaborative attitude.

Experience and Education:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience:
    • Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
    • Experience with various manufacturing methods.
    • Knowledge in design for molding and tool development.
    • Understanding of pneumatics and related systems.
    • Proficiency in Office-related programs.
    • Excellent command of English, both verbal and written.
