Polaris Distribusjon Sør AS is based in Kristiansand and Arendal, and is a division in the distribution network, Polaris Distribution. Polaris Distribusjon delivers, in addition to Polaris Media ASA's own newspapers, over 30 other newspaper titles, books, weekly magazines, trade journals, small packages and advertising inserts  6 days a week (Monday-Saturday). The company delivers to most households in Agder, Northwest Norway, Western Norway , Central Norway and large parts of Northern Norway. The company is also part of the HeltHjem network.

 

The assignment consists of delivering our subscribers’ products such as; newspapers, weekly magazines, trade journals, small packages and advertising inserts within the period 01:00-07:00, 6 nights a week (Monday-Saturday). Working hours may vary somewhat between different routes and days.

 

We are looking for temporary carriers in Arendal and Grimstad for this year's summer vacation period.

Polaris Distribusjon Sør is a forward-leaning distribution company that actively works towards  accommodating ever changing media marked. We offer follow-up and training for those who do not currently run their own company and are open to applicants who do not currently know the newspaper carrier industry from the past.

 

It is important that the applicant has thought through that the assignment takes place at night (6 nights a week), under different weather conditions and that the work can be considered physically demanding.

 

  We are therefore looking for you who have the following qualifications:

• Physically in good shape
• Structured, independent
• Responsible and reliable
• Has good geographical knowledge
• Own car. -Good written and oral presentation skills in Norwegian or English.
• Good understanding of the use of IT technical aids such as smart phones (route books) and e-mail. Training will be provided.
