About the Role

Become a key player in StormGeo's network operations as a Network Engineer. Collaborate with senior network engineers to maintain and modernize our global network infrastructure. This dynamic role involves international travel and focuses on implementing cutting-edge software-defined networking solutions. Your expertise will contribute to the seamless functioning of our network architecture on a global scale. Join us in shaping the future of StormGeo's networking landscape.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure a seamless networking experience for developers and users within our dynamic environment
  • Collaborate closely with Cybersecurity, IT Ops, and Development teams to optimize networking resources
  • Handle events, incidents, problems, and changes related to networking to maintain operational excellence
  • Keep our network infrastructure up to date by regularly updating, patching, and upgrading network appliances in both data centers and global branch offices
  • Manage and optimize networks in our multi/hybrid cloud environment, spanning Azure, AWS, and GCP

Core Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience managing load balancers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, remote access solutions, and virtual networks
  • Previous experience working with cloud platforms is highly desirable, with specific consideration for Azure, AWS, or GCP experience
  • Familiarity with Cisco and Palo Alto products is advantageous, showcasing a diverse skill set
  • Certifications such as CCNA, PCNSA, SASE, or similar are a strong plus, demonstrating a commitment to professional development and expertise
