We are looking for a compassionate, caring Mobile Responder to join our amazing team in the Oxford area.

We offer a completely digital telecom-system, making it possible for all of our vulnerable and elderly clients to feel safe in the comfort of their home, as well as in the outside world. With our excellent team of in house Emergency Call Handlers we maintain our own 24/7/365 Alarm Receiving Centre, along with our own Mobile Response Team.   

What you will do…

To be part of an On-Call rota and respond to calls from our customers and service users in accordance with agreed procedures and laid down timescales. Call outs will include, but are not exclusive to the following:

  • No response calls whereby an alarm has been raised but we have not been able to contact the service user.
  • Complete failure of lifeline system and / associated equipment
  • Lost pendants where the user has no other means of raising an alarm and is left vulnerable without it.
  • Falls pick up.
  • Minor injuries that can be dealt with by administering first aid.

Also includes:

  • To deliver the service in line with contract requirements, operating within the agree parameters for the role.
  • To ensure that all work undertaken on customer’s premises is carried out in a safe manner, with the customer’s consent and to the company’s standards.

What we need from you:

  • Knowledge of lifeline services and the equipment used would be an advantage.
  • Excellent approach to customer service –in person and on the phone.
  • Experience in the care sector desirable.
  • The post holder is expected to undertake training and personal professional development to enable them to better fulfil their role.
  • Clean Driving License

Salary: From £11.83ph (£23,068 per annum)

Due to the nature of our work, applicants must be aged 18 or over and will be subject to DBS screening before appointment.
