Young Potential Trainee Program aims to speed up young potentials development, preparing you for a future leader career in an international environment. The programme is a cross functional cooperation to let you exchange experience and learnings that will provide you with a network and a large knowledge about Scania and TRATON GROUP. 

The programme is aimed to those who holds a Bachelor of Master degree with no more than two years of professional experience of work within your field of studies by the start.

What’s in it for you? 
You will be employed from day one. Your base will most likely be at one of our offices in Södertälje*. Depending on the covid-19 situation some remote work might be required. 
Your programme will be built on a personal development plan created together with your appointed managerial mentor, based on competence fulfilment set from the programme.  
You should be prepared to take on assignments globally for a minimum of three months, within TRATON GROUP and within Scania commercial operations. 
 
The programme runs for 15 months, starting 22 August, 2022. We will start with an onboarding to get an overall view of Scania and TRATON GROUP. Please note that week 36 will be spent in Munich Germany. Your networking starts here!  
During the programme we will conduct modules based on learnings about Scania, TRATON GROUP, personal development etc. 

Finance
The financial perspective is crucial for running an efficient organization and is involved in all parts of the business, playing a key role in daily operations.  
Within finance you have the possibility to influence decisions within various areas and contribute to the sustainability of Scania, both as a company and as an employer. 
As a trainee you will have the opportunity to work within areas such as Business Control, Treasury and Financial Services. Whereas Treasury and Financial Services are key enablers for the sales of Scania Groups solutions and services worldwide, the business control organization has a mission to maintain the economic perspective throughout the process, from product and service development to delivery of the finished product and the services provided. 

Application  
To qualify for the Young Potential Trainee Program, you are about to finish your Bachelor´s or Master´s degree latest this summer with no more than 2 years of professional experience of work within your field of studies by the start.

Scania & TRATON Group have global presence, for this reason it is a prerequisite that you speak and write English fluently and other languages are seen as an advantage.

Foreign applicants  
Due to the reason that some assignments during the program will take place outside of the country where you are employed for at least three months you need to be an EU-citizen or have a permanent residence permit for in Sweden. Otherwise we risk to interfere with the migration rules.   
If you currently study outside of Sweden or have a foreign degree from your highest studies you need to get your degree verified by the Swedish Council for Higher Education. Please visit https://www.uhr.se/ to get recognition of your foreign qualifications.  Note that this process can take up to six months.  
 
Recruitment process 
A complete application includes a cover letter, CV and a summary of grade records or your degree certificate. Incomplete applications will not be processed.  
As the first part of the selection process we use web based psychometric test in order to get an unbiased screening. The tests will be sent to everyone who meet our base requirements mentioned in the ad. We will then make a selection based on the test results.  Now we will start to look at your CV, formal education/qualifications and your previous experiences. If selected to an interview we will also go into your professional interests and personal competencies.
