Product Engineer

Jotron is a leading international corporation in the development, production and sale of communication systems and safety equipment for aviation and maritime applications. The head office of the Jotron Group is in Larvik, Norway, with subsidiaries in Oslo, Lithuania, the Netherlands, England, the USA and Singapore. The Group has approx. 420 employees and an annual turnover of just over NOK 1 billion.

We are looking for a Product Engineer to strengthen our ambitious Technical Department team in Kaunas, Lithuania.

As Product Engineer, you will: 

• Maintain and improve the technical performance of assigned product groups;
• Prepare, maintain, and continuously update technical documentation (process specifications, work instructions, drawings);
• Analyze, improve, and optimize manufacturing processes;
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and improve existing products;
• Investigate and resolve product assembly and manufacturing issues;
• Participate in non-conformance analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA);
• Collaborate with production, quality, and supply chain departments to ensure smooth operations.

What we expect of you: 

• A technical background with at least Bachelor’s degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Engineering;
• 1–3 years of experience in a similar role (manufacturing or product development);
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good technical English;
• Responsible, proactive, and results-oriented.

Nice to have: 

• Proficiency in MS Office; CAD software is an advantage;
• Understanding of UHF/VHF radio frequency electronics;
• Knowledge of analytics tools such as Power BI.

Salary: 

• Salary starts from 2500 - 4000 gross/per month;
• The final offer will depend on the level of competencies and experience.
