The position

Work with molecular studies of gene regulation and the biochemical properties of transcription factors. The work includes both theoretical studies and laboratory work.

The person we need

We are looking for you who can take initiative and start activities, you are self-motivated, structured and take responsibility. Furthermore, we see that you are quality conscious and work well with complex issues and have the ability to analyze data.

We want you to have an academic degree with a master's degree in protein chemistry. Furthermore, we see that you have worked with:

  • Laboratory work
  • Cell culture
  • EMSA
  • Cultivation of primary mouse cells on stromal cells
  • Flow cytometry
  • Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The workplace

You will work at the Department of Molecular Medicine and Virology, MMV. The department consists of about ten research groups working with molecular medicine and immunology. The work is carried out in a medium-sized research group composed of technical staff as well as PhD students and post-doctors.
