Work assignments

At the Division of Applied Thermodynamics and Fluid Mechanics, undergraduate education, research and postgraduate education are conducted in the areas of fluid dynamics, heat transfer and thermodynamics. Within the basic education, a number of master and bachelor programs as well as international master's programs are taught. The research is mainly conducted in areas such as heat transfer, energy technology, hydraulics, biogas, biofluid dynamics, and aerodynamics with an emphasis on numerical analysis; powerful supercomputing resources are a natural tool. Common to all areas is that the research is generally applied, of a multiphysics nature and takes place in collaboration with industry/business.

The work includes development, planning and implementation of teaching and examination, including supervision of students within the Faculty of Technology's various programs.

You are active in the research community, participate in the division's activities such as seminars and workshops, participate in research projects, communicate results through academic publications and help attract external research funding.

You contribute actively to the university's development work. Collaboration is an integral part of the university's research and educational mission. Cooperation in education takes place by planning, organizing and implementing good cooperation in an educational context. Collaboration in research takes place by disseminating, making available, and making research useful.

The employment may include administrative assignments.
