As the Commercial Director, you hold the crucial responsibility of developing On Premise Strategies and creating the most effective team configuration, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation. This strategic foundation paves the way for the development of an exhaustive national business plan. By actively engaging with your team and embracing a growth mindset, you aim to maximize sales and elevate brand visibility across Denmark's On Premise channel.

Key Responsibility

The Team Leader

  • Lead and coach all direct reports with an extroverted, growth-oriented approach to inspire heightened productivity and engagement.
  • Ensure continuous development of the full On Premise department and ensure continuous development within the team through proper succession preparation.
  • Bring the brand premium values of Red Bull to life as a role model for the entire team and the On Premise network. Constantly monitor image standards within the team.
  • Use your unique personality to showcase this premium brand and to build effective relationships with strategically important customers and industry contacts.

The Strategic Operator

  • Take full responsibility for the development of the national On Premise business plan targeted to meet ambitious company goals.
  • Develop and deploy ingenious strategies and guarantee the implementation of the national business plan top down.
  • Constantly evaluate the execution by spending time in the field and by setting up appropriate KPI’s.
  • Manage team to drive horizontal as well as vertical growth – including meeting with the biggest customers.
  • Know your market like the back of your hand. Spend an appropriate amount of time in the field to stay close to market dynamics, secure and optimize existing execution and maintain a sharp look-out for new opportunities.
  • Find and develop marketing strategies and programs to leverage the brand and increase product consumption in the ever-changing On Premise environment.

The Business Manager

  • Plan and continuously develop the geographical area and team structure.
  • Manage resources such as budget and POS material effectively.
  • Carry out ongoing analysis of market research, KPI’s and reporting tool database with an insight into action mentality.
  • Ensure appropriate communication flow and knowledge transfer within the national director team. Secure and optimize the teamwork with all national business units.

Your experience

  • Minimum 5 years management experience with a proven track record of driving success.
  • Strong On Premise industry knowledge and integration in local scene and community.
  • Strategic and innovative commercial awareness and acumen.
  • Highly developed analytical skills. Ability to translate data and insights from market research, sales analyses, and forecasts into effective sales activation as well as compelling brand-marketing activities in response to changes in the On Premise environment.
  • Social Chameleon. Understands all groups of people, what every type of person must deal with daily and knows how to act around them.
  • Clear understanding of markets, sales and distribution, consumer behavior and competitor activity in FMCG context.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills such as selling, negotiating, training, coaching and active listening.
  • Self-motivated and ability to work independently in a high energy, fast-paced, field-based environment.
