The Head of Key Accounts is a senior entrepreneurial leadership role in charge of the development, implementation & tracking of Red Bull’s sales strategy for the Key Accounts in our On Premise department.

We are seeking a visionary individual for this role, who can develop a medium-term strategy by deeply understanding customers, trends, and opportunities with a keen eye for detail. This person must be confident in taking risks, recognizing, and seizing opportunities to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities

LEADERSHIP

  • Lead the Key Account team in assessing, clarifying, and validating consumer needs on a regular basis.
  • Accountable for the achievement of the department’s assigned targets for profitable sales volume and achievement of the business’s overall objectives.
  • Mentor and coach team members to foster individual growth and a collective winning mentality.
  • Create a supportive and challenging environment where innovation and risk-taking are encouraged.

 

STRATEGY AND PLANNING 

  • Alignment with HQ on international strategy, guidelines, and customers with focus on the Danish market.
  • Identification of the most relevant channels and customers (size and relevance) in the respective market and development of long-term visions to drive vertical and horizontal distribution and sales.
  • Close alignment with local Marketing on market-relevant industry- and consumer insights and national focus areas.
  • Annual business planning for On Premise Key Accounts, including budget- and volume forecast as well as a thought through activation plan for each Key Account.


MANAGING TOP KEY ACCOUNTS

  • Enhancing performance of existing customers through effective joint business plans.
  • Gaining new customers from the target national market.
  • Forming mutually beneficial partnership deals that boost value for both Red Bull and customers.
  • Working with both internal teams and external partners to drive business success.
  • Achieving outstanding account execution by leveraging team resources.
  • Overseeing account budgets, tracking customer ROI, and adjusting strategies as needed.

 

TRACKING, ANALYZING AND REPORTING 

  • Measuring success by diligently tracking, analyzing, and reporting on performance and areas of growth and opportunity.
  • Ongoing data maintenance and optimization in the Key Account Tracker and sharing status on Key Account volume, distribution, execution, and agreements with HQ.
  • Reporting direct to Commercial Director On Premise Denmark with dot alignment to HQ.

YOUR EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3-years of relevant KAM work experience within FMCG / Retail.
  • Having relevant leadership experience.
  • Excellent network of existing contacts and relationships preferred within the On Trade industry.
  • Analytical skills - strong planning and negotiation skills with a good understanding of financial bottom-line implications of sales and marketing decisions.
  • Skilled in data analysis to enhance value for customers and Red Bull through targeted initiatives.
  • Good communication and presentation skills.
  • Strategic ability to develop specific, valuable, innovative, and commercially focused strategies, but also grasp the 'big picture'.
  • You have a high energy level, are authentic and ambitious – but must important you like to have fun!
