DeLaval’s customers, who are dairy farmers around the world, depend on our products running day after day, year after year. That is why quick response, high quality service, and availability of original parts are key areas for us. Portfolio Services & Original Parts has responsibility for defining and implementing strategies, development, pricing, and assortment life cycle management for test systems, original parts and service products. Availability of, and training on, the DeLaval test equipment is critical to the service organization, as this equipment enables quick identification and resolution of any issues that may occur.
As Product Specialist Test Systems you will have the overall responsibility for the administration and maintenance of test-tool and monitoring-system software and products used by the global organisation. Your role includes release handling, coordination of maintenance and testing of software, as well as ensuring that related Master Data is up to date. You will also provide documentation for our spare parts catalogue, user manuals and training material, including coordination of global translations.
You will have a broad role in a qualified and competent team as an active project member or leader of sub-projects. You work in collaboration with sourcing, compliance and external partners to secure that our portfolio of test-tool and monitoring software meets our world class standards. Online meetings are frequent, and occasional international travel may be required.
The ideal candidate should have at least a bachelor’s degree in engineering, information systems or equivalent experience, and a desire as well as an ability to learn new systems. A few years of experience in systems administration, release management and/or technical documentation is a merit.
You have a structured, analytical, and thorough approach to your work, and you are positive, trustworthy and service minded. You have the ability to interact with people across all functions and cultures with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the potential to develop as a project leader. Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is required.
