The department of Applied Information Technology offers education and carries out research within the areas informatics, learning, communication and cognitive science in close collaboration with the industry and public sector. Development of the individual’s knowledge and ability to analyze, understand and handle the digitalization of society, different aspects of IT, interaction between people and interaction between people and technology are at focus.
The department is located at Campus Lindholmen and is a part of The IT faculty at The University of Gothenburg.
The division of Informatics consists of around 30 researchers and teachers that host projects that have a strong link to industry and practice, and publish on the highest level.
We offer an academic environment that facilitates both research and education with a focus on the digitalization of society.
We provide two educational programs to our students, a Master in Digital Leadership and Bachelor in Systems Science. All our teaching reflects the strong research environment of the division, and courses are designed to be aligned with existing research and industry collaboration. The division also hosts the Gothenburg node of the Swedish Center for Digital Innovation (www.scdi.se).
Subject area description
Enterprise systems and management acounting
Teaching on the Bachelor program SVP. The work will involve both being responsible for a course in enterprise systems and management control and to further develop the course in line with the program.
The eligibility for employment as a teacher is stated in chapter 4, sections 3 - 4 of the Higher Education Ordinance and the University of Gothenburg's employment procedure. Qualifying to be employed is the one who has demonstrated educational skill, has obtained a doctorate or has equivalent scientific competence or any other skill that is important in the view of the content of the employment and the duties that are to be included.
The assessment will involve attributing equal importance to the criteria of scientific and pedagogical skills.
- Proven ability to conduct and participate in research within enterprise systems and management accounting.
- Proven ability to conduct and participate in education within enterprise systems and management accounting.
Management- and administrative skill
- Experience of being responsible for courses in higher education.
- Experience of industri-related education and collaboration with societal actors.
The position is a fixed-term employment of 12 months at a scope of 20 %, and is placed at the Department of Applied Information Technology within The division of Informatics.
Start date according to agreement.
