The Role

At Helly Hansen we are driving for global Revenue growth. This role will be responsible for analyzing the performance of our D2C digital business and performance marketing campaigns. You will analyze Helly Hansen sales, website, and marketing campaign data to evaluate performance and helping to drive future acquisition, conversion, and retention opportunities.

Using data, insight and analytics you’ll partner closely with the ecommerce and performance marketing teams to make help drive the e-comm and performance marketing strategy. You’ll provide accurate and timely reports that include actionable insights, as well as commentary that helps the teams make informed decisions on future activity.

This role will be based in Denver, US but will also support out our European business.

Key responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse the performance of Helly Hansen’s website vs defined KPI’s
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing acquisition, retention and loyalty campaigns
  • Evaluate AB test performance across user testing and performance marketing
  • Provide accurate, timely reporting including performance commentary and action orientated recommendations
  • Partner with marketing and e-commerce stakeholders to help build incremental growth strategies
  • Partner with the performance marketing team to develop a clearly defined attribution model
  • Use data and analytics to help solve identified business problems
  • Use data and insight to continuously build a better understanding of our customers
  • Use data and insight to monitor competitor activities so as to benchmark Helly Hansen performance

What we are looking for

  • 3+ years working in a digital marketing analytics role, preferably with an e-commerce retail brand
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to process complex data sets and use statistical analysis to create clear actionable insights
  • Ability to translate complicated data and insight into simple communications and updates, grounded in commercial performance
  • Highly experienced in using web analytics tools such as Google Analytics
  • Highly proficient in use of Excel, SQL, R, Python and Tableau
  • Ability to set up and evaluate campaigns in digital marketing platforms such as Meta and Google
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing techniques covering SEO, search and display advertising
  • Strong understanding of test and learn methodology
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns/projects at once
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with strong attention to detail
  • Experience in sports marketing or an interest in skiing or sailing sports is a plus

This position is a full-time employment. Salary range will be $90,000 to $110,000 base.
