The research topic of Pervasive and Mobile Computing focuses on basic and application-oriented research in software systems, distributed applications, and human-computer interaction in several application areas. In recent years, the group has also focused specifically on how computer game technology can be applied to new areas such as learning and health.

To strengthen our efforts in applied game technologies, we are recruiting a software engineer who are interested in research-oriented work.

Description of work
Ideation, design, and implementation of games for pupils in primary school to promote children's natural opportunity for everyday movement through Active school transport. The work will be done in collaboration with researchers both within and outside the research group, as well as with several different external partners. Qualifications
 - Applicants must hold or be about to receive a MSc degree in Computer Science (or equivalent).
 - Programming skills in several programming languages ​g., JavaScript, PHP, Java, C#
 - Experience of web development (frontend and backend)
 - Experience of development in Angular is a merit
 - Experience in practical research and engineering projects is a merit

We are looking for enthusiastic candidates who can conduct modern research both independently and as part of a team. The applicant must have good knowledge of English, both in writing and orally suitable to present and publish research results.

The position is a time-limited full-time position of 1 year with the possibility of extension. Access by agreement. Position is placed in Skellefteå or Luleå.
