Project assistant autograding

The Division of Data Science & AI is looking for a project assistant for the summer to deploy autograding infrastructure for the division's courses (such as Introduction to Data Science & AI and Computational techniques for large-scale data). The main tasks will be to set up the autograding system, and adapt the course materials and assignments to work within the autograding infrastructure.

The division of Data Science & AI has large teaching allocation at Chalmers, and we are looking to make our teaching more effective by employing better teaching infrastructure, which includes autograded assignments.

Job description
- Deploy the autograding infrastructure onto division server
- Construct course assignments that can be autograded, and the associated graders
- Test and evaluate the system

Contract terms
Temporary full-time employment. Starting date is 1/6 and the duration of employment is 3 months.

Qualifications
Master- or bachelor-level student in computer science, mathematics, physics, or some other relevant field.

- Strong programming skills (especially Python)
- Capability to work with UNIX-like servers
- Knowledge of other tools such as Docker is a plus

Meritorious
Successful completion of studies with high grades is considered meritorious, particularly as they relate to courses given at DS&AI and programming courses.
