Background to the degree project
Driveline losses is getting more focus in the industry and the need for early estimations of power loss is important. This work aims to increase the fidelity of this kind of estimations

Assignment description
First part of the assignment is to evaluate the possibility to calculate system power loss in a 1-D simulation tool. Second part is to build a system model in a more complex simulation tool that can evaluate system power losses. Results from both these calculations need to be correlated with physical test data.

More reliable estimations of power losses in driveline components in early design stages
